Otjiruze Guest Farm

Otjiruze Guest Farm

A historic family-run guest and hunting farm in the Swakop Valley, offering luxurious accommodation and ethical safaris.

About

Otjiruze Guest Farm is one of Namibia’s oldest family-run hunting and safari operations, established in 1924 and managed by the Rogl family for four generations. Situated approximately 90 kilometers north of the international airport within the 160,000-acre Swakop Valley Conservancy, the farm features a diverse landscape of grass savannas, dry riverbeds, and mountain ridges. The accommodation includes eight luxurious en-suite double rooms and a special family suite, all individually decorated to provide a comfortable, high-end farm experience. Guests can enjoy traditional Namibian delicacies and farm-to-table cuisine in a stylish lapa, complemented by a swimming pool and an open-air fireplace. While the ranch is renowned for ethical trophy hunting and professional safaris, it also offers non-hunting guests nature drives, wildlife viewing, and hiking trails to experience the prolific local game and birdlife. The farm represents a true home-from-home atmosphere, combining genuine hospitality with the untamed beauty of the Namibian bushveld.
