Ghaub Nature Reserve & Farm

Historic mission station in the Otavi Mountains, offering rhino tracking and cave excursions.

About

Ghaub Guestfarm is a historical oasis located in the rugged Otavi Mountains. Originally established as a mission station in 1895, the renovated buildings retain their colonial charm, surrounded by tall palm trees and lush lawns. Accommodation includes comfortable rooms and private campsites with their own ablutions. The farm is unique for its dual focus on agriculture and nature conservation. Guests can join exciting activities such as tracking white rhinos on foot, exploring the famous Ghaub limestone cave (the third largest in Namibia), or visiting ancient San rock engravings on a guided drive.
