Ongula Village Homestead Lodge

Ongula Village Homestead Lodge is a unique cultural destination situated in the heart of Owamboland, near Ondangwa. It is the first lodge in Namibia built alongside an active traditional homestead, offering guests an immersive introduction to the Owambo lifestyle. Accommodation consists of comfortable round thatched rondavels and standard rooms, as well as a campsite with power and shared facilities. The lodge offers a genuine cultural exchange, where guests can participate in daily activities such as pounding mahangu (millet), basket weaving, and pottery making, or take a guided walk through the village to meet the locals.
