Mbamba Campsite

Mbamba Campsite is a rustic, community-run campsite located 40km east of Rundu, directly on the banks of the Okavango River. It offers a peaceful and authentic stopover for travelers exploring the Kavango region. The campsite features several shaded spots with reed-lined lapas and well-maintained shared ablution facilities (showers and toilets). While it does not have electricity or a restaurant, it provides a genuine connection to nature. Guests can explore the river on traditional mokoro trips, take walks on the small peninsula, or enjoy excellent bird watching opportunities along the water's edge.
