Etambura Camp

Etambura Camp

Namibia's first Himba co-owned camp, offering spectacular 360-degree views and cultural immersion.

About

Etambura Camp is a unique and exclusive camp located in the Orupembe Conservancy, famously known as Namibia's first Himba co-owned lodge. Perched on a hilltop, the camp offers five canvas-and-thatch chalets with private decks that provide breathtaking 360-degree views over the holy plains of Onjuva. The camp is eco-friendly and blends seamlessly with the landscape. While primarily a self-catering destination, meals can be arranged. It is the perfect base for exploring the remote Kaokoland, with activities such as guided walks to Himba villages, game drives to spot desert-adapted wildlife, and excursions to the nearby marble mine.
