Palmwag Lodge is an iconic lodge and campsite located in a palm-tree oasis on the banks of the Uniab River in Damaraland. It is the main gateway to the vast, 550,000-hectare Palmwag Concession. Accommodation consists of comfortable thatched-roof bungalows and campsites (some with private ablutions). The main lapa features a restaurant, Wi-Fi, and two swimming pools. The lodge is renowned for its conservation efforts and, as per its official homepage, offers guided activities including rhino tracking, game drives to see desert-adapted elephants, sundowner drives, and guided walks.
