Grootberg Lodge

Grootberg Lodge is a pioneering, community-owned lodge perched on the edge of the Grootberg Pass in Damaraland. It offers breathtaking views over the Klip River Valley. Access to the lodge is via a steep 4x4 track (guests with 2WD vehicles are collected). Accommodation consists of 16 rock-and-thatch chalets and 4 campsites with shared ablutions. The main lodge features a restaurant, bar, Wi-Fi, spa services, and a pool. As per its official homepage, activities are a major focus, including rhino and elephant tracking, guided walks, sundowner drives, and Himba cultural visits.
