Tsumkwe Country Lodge
Tsumkwe Country Lodge
Rustic lodge and campsite in Tsumkwe, the gateway to Nyae Nyae and San culture.
About
Tsumkwe Country Lodge is the central accommodation hub in the remote settlement of Tsumkwe, the capital of the Nyae Nyae Conservancy. It serves as the ideal base for exploring the wild Khaudum National Park and experiencing the authentic culture of the Ju/'Hoansi San people. The lodge offers 25 rustic yet comfortable twin chalets with en-suite facilities, as well as campsites with power and water (some with private ablutions). The main area features a restaurant, bar, and a swimming pool, often visited by elephants at the nearby waterhole. Activities focus on cultural immersions, including guided bush walks, village visits, and excursions to the Nyae Nyae Pans and the giant Holboom baobab.
