Tambuti Lodge

Tambuti Lodge is a quaint and affordable lodge located in Rundu, perched above the Kavango River floodplain. It is one of the few lodges in the area that looks out over the river without being flooded during the rainy season. Accommodation consists of eight white-washed bungalows set in a lush garden. The lodge is unique for its restaurant, which specializes in traditional African cuisine using local ingredients like mahangu and river fish. Activities include renting kayaks to explore the river, bird watching, and self-drive visits to the nearby Mbunza Living Museum to learn about the local culture.
