Spitzkoppe Tented Camp & Campsites is located on the banks of the dry Spitzkoppe River, just 500 meters outside the official Mountain Reserve gate. It serves as a more comfortable alternative for those who want to explore the peaks but prefer private facilities. Unlike the rustic community camp inside, every campsite here features its own private hot shower, flush toilet, and electrical point. For non-campers, the "Ama-Bushy" tents and Bush Wagons provide roofed accommodation with real beds and en-suite bathrooms. The property features a swimming pool, a bar, and a restaurant with panoramic views of the mountains. It is also the primary hub for visits to a nearby traditional Himba village, offering a cultural dimension to the geological wonders of the area.
