Rooisand Desert Ranch

Rooisand Desert Ranch is a family-run guest and astro-farm located on the C26, halfway between Windhoek and the coast, at the foot of the Gamsberg Pass. Accommodation consists of comfortable en-suite rooms, a self-catering mountain chalet, and campsites with power and shared ablutions. The main lapa features a restaurant, a fully licensed bar, free Wi-Fi, and a swimming pool. The ranch is an ideal stopover and a destination for astronomy, with an on-site observatory. Other activities include game drives, hiking, and cycling trails where guests can view local wildlife.
