Onjowewe Lodge

Onjowewe Lodge, often called "The House in the Rocks," is a unique and rustic accommodation located 20km east of Kamanjab. Originally built as a set for the French film "The Trail," the lodge is constructed from natural stone and wood, integrated directly into the granite boulders. Accommodation includes the main house (ideal for groups), bush camp tents, and campsites with private ablutions. The lodge operates off-the-grid with no electricity, using solar lights and paraffin lamps to create a magical atmosphere. There is a swimming pool built into the rocks. Guests can visit the nearby Otjikandero Himba Village for a cultural experience.
