Kunene River Lodge

Kunene River Lodge is a paradise for adventure lovers and birdwatchers, located on the banks of the Kunene River, 50km west of Ruacana. It offers accommodation in air-conditioned Deluxe Rooms and rustic A-frame chalets, as well as campsites shaded by Jackalberry trees. The lodge is famous for being one of the few places in Namibia offering white-water rafting adventures. It is also a birding hotspot, home to the rare Cinderella Waxbill. Facilities include a swimming pool, restaurant, and bar deck overlooking the river. Guests can enjoy guided activities such as rafting, canoeing, sundowner cruises, hiking, and cultural visits to local Himba villages.
