Kalahari Game Lodge

Kalahari Game Lodge is a remote desert oasis situated on a 40,000-hectare private game reserve, just 20km from the Mata Mata border post of the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. It offers accommodation in eight rustic-luxury chalets with views of the Auob riverbed, as well as secluded campsites with private ablutions (solar-powered, no electricity). The main lodge features a restaurant, bar, swimming pool, and a bonfire pit. The reserve is unique for its free-roaming Kalahari lions, and guests can join specialized lion tracking excursions, scenic game drives, or explore the 4x4 self-drive trail to experience the true wilderness of the Kalahari.
