Fort Sesfontein Lodge

Fort Sesfontein Lodge is a unique and historic lodge located in the remote settlement of Sesfontein, acting as the gateway to the rugged Kaokoveld. The lodge is a reconstruction of a German colonial fort from 1896, offering guests a blend of history and comfort. Accommodation rooms are set around a central courtyard filled with palm trees and a swimming pool, built with authentic local materials. The lodge is renowned for its guided safaris into the Hoanib River to track desert-adapted elephants and black rhinos, as well as cultural excursions to local Himba villages and rock art sites.
