Desert Homestead Lodge

Desert Homestead Lodge is a charming and relaxed lodge located 30km southeast of Sesriem, serving as an excellent base for visiting Sossusvlei. Accommodation consists of 26 rustic-chic thatched chalets, all with en-suite bathrooms and shaded verandas offering endless views of the Rotterkaum Mountains. The main lodge is designed like a horse farm, featuring a restaurant, bar, and a swimming pool with a view. The lodge is particularly famous for its horse safaris, which are suitable for both beginners and experienced riders, offering a unique way to explore the desert landscape. Other activities include guided Sossusvlei excursions, sundowner drives, and hiking trails.
