Camp Aussicht

Camp Aussicht is a unique and rustic rest camp situated on top of a hill in the remote Kaokoland, offering breathtaking panoramic views over the Damaraland plains. The camp is known for its authentic, back-to-basics atmosphere. Accommodation consists of simple stone rooms and campsites with shared ablutions (bucket showers/donkey boilers) and no electricity. Access requires a 4x4 vehicle. Guests can explore the onsite Dioptase mine, visit local Himba settlements, hike in the surrounding hills, or watch the resident porcupines that visit the camp in the evenings.
